Valentine’s weekend in Fiskars
Celebrate a charming Valentine’s Day — or, as we call it in Finland, Friend’s Day!
Throughout the Valentine’s weekend, a diverse program awaits: a Valentine’s walk, a delicious Valentine’s lunch, and open house at the fire station, where you can admire the love-red, restored Stutz fire engine. There will also be film screenings at the Assembly Hall as well as various workshops designed to be enjoyed together with a friend.

Share your best moment from Valentine’s weekend!
Post a photo or video from Fiskars on Instagram and tag @fiskars_village and @thetorbyhotel.
By doing so, you’ll enter the giveaway and have a chance to win an overnight stay for two at Hotel Torby.

Sashiko-workshop
SeriMeri Studio & Atelier
Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embroidery technique that is calm and almost meditative.
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of sashiko embroidery. The technique is based on simple running stitches that create even, rhythmic patterns. Traditionally, sashiko has been used in patchwork and to mend and reinforce clothing.
Sashiko is usually embroidered on cotton fabric, but the technique also works well on other materials. The workshop is perfect for beginners and requires no prior experience.
