Life at Fiskars Ironworks exhibition

tues 9.6. – sun 31.12.2028

The exhibition on Hammarbacken in Fiskars presents the life of Ironworkers from the 17th century to this day. In the exhibition you can find Fiskars products like pig iron, early garden tools and probably the smallest scissors ever made in Finland. You can also learn about Fiskars history by visiting our home interiors and activities. Turn the time maschine and find interesting items from the Ironworks’ history, play a memory game of knives and scissors, try the work of an office clerk or dress as the ironworks owner. In the summertime fresh bread can be tasted in the old bakery house and in the Foundry visitors can take part in a Metal workshop. The exhibition at the attic of Slaggbyggnaden presents the life at the Ironworks from Second World War to the 1970’s.
