Nikari manufactures high quality wooden furniture according to the principles of sustainable development.

Furniture and custom work are delivered to public areas and to quality homes. The basic idea of Nikari is to use certified wood from the diverse forests of the surrounding area to make it both formally and technically furniture that represents the highest quality possible. Already in the 1970s, Kari Virtanen, the only carpenter in Finland awarded the Pro Finlandia Medal, decided to concentrate on surface treatments, especially oils, waxes and soaps.

The Nikari Showroom and Workshop are located in the idyllic Fiskars Ironworks, Finland’s oldest workshop, which is powered by the Fiskars River flowing next to it.
