Spend a relaxing summer day in Fiskars bruk exploring ceramics!

The course is led by sculptor Anu Mykrä. Instruction is also available in Swedish and English.

During the course, you will learn the basic techniques of ceramic design and surface treatment. Your pieces will be decorated with engobes, and the instructor will take care of the glazing. A lunch break of approximately one hour will be held during the day. Finished works can be collected later at an agreed time and will not be shipped.

The workshop takes place in the heart of the ironworks village at the garden shop Ruusupapu. The space is rustic and relaxed, so please wear clothes suitable for creative work. The venue may feel cool even on warm days, and other activities may take place at the same time. Please note that the nearest restroom is حوالي 500 meters from the workshop space. A lunch break of about one hour will be included during the course.

Registration is binding, and the course fee is paid upon registration. The fee is non-refundable. However, you may transfer your spot to a friend or attend a similar course at a later date.

Cultural or other benefit vouchers are unfortunately not accepted as payment. The instructor and Ruusupapu are not responsible for participants’ insurance.

Ruusupapu offers a 10% discount on summer flowers and herbs for course participants.

Anu Mykrä will also be selling her sculptures and can be met at the Fiskars Antique Market from July 2–5.
