Welcome to Fiskars!

Fiskars is a village located in the town of Raseborg, roughly a one-hour drive west from Helsinki. The Village is not merely a travel destination, it also home to more than 500 people.

In addition to the boutiques, shops, hotels, and restaurants, Fiskars has a school, kindergarten, and a variety of other services and businesses.

Fiskars is located in the town of Raseborg, an estimated one-hour drive west of Helsinki. From Helsinki, you can get to Karjaa by bus or train in about an hour, and a taxi or local bus can take you the remaining 15 kilometers to Fiskars.

      How do I get there?

      From Helsinki, you can get to Karjaa by bus or train in about an hour, and a taxi or local bus can take you the remaining 15 kilometers to Fiskars – or you could even ride a bicycle.

      Campervan parking

      Parking for the day until 10pm on street Malcomintie, near Fiskars Museum. No 27 on the map.

      Admission

      There is no admission fee to the Village area, and parking is also free of charge (excluding certain events). The summer and winter exhibitions at the Fiskars museum are subject to an admission fee.

      Opening hours

      Fiskars Village is open year round. Some services are only available from May to September, but many keep their doors open all year round. Detailed information on opening hours is available here.

      ATM

      There is no ATM at Fiskars Village. The closest ATM is in downtown Pohja, in front of the S-market supermarket at Pohjantie 2.

      Pets

      Pets are welcome at the Kuparipaja and Fiskars Wärdshus restaurants and all our cafés. Hotel Tegel and Fiskars Wärdshus also provide rooms for those traveling with pets.

      Nearby beach

      The nearest beach to Fiskars is Flacksjö. It is situated about 2,5 km from Fiskars Village (See the swimming area symbol in the lower left corner of the Fiskars Village map). The adress for the beach is Flacksjöntie 50. You can reach Flacksjö by car, bike or by foot. Changing huts and outhouses can be found by the beach.  Read more about Flacksjö beach here.
