Knives, candles, hangers, hooks and much more are made in the forge. The warm atmosphere of the forge and the hammer ring must be experienced. Opening hours: Mon-Fri 11am-5pm.

The forging workshop manufactures forged items for decoration and use. The product is created by hand and according to the customer’s wishes. Also in all small items, such as candle holders, door knockers, hanging hooks, etc.

Born in Laitila, Upi Anttila grew up in the handicraft profession as a child at his grandfather’s carpentry and saddler workshop. In the 1970s, he received his basic education at Vakka-Suomen Vocational School and Turkus Technical College, from which he graduated as a shipbuilding technician in 1980. Anttila changed his job as a construction technician to a skilled blacksmith’s profession when he founded his own forge at Fiskars Ironworks in 1992. He has made numerous custom works for different parties such as the manors of Pehrsböle, Joensuu and Hirvihaara. Anttila also cooperates extensively with educational institutions and creative professionals, and raises the next generation to the blacksmithing profession on a journeyman principle. He is also very active in organizations and events in his field.
