Peace Work NOW panel discussion
Panel discussion on peace work and nonviolent civil disobedience.
The panel discussion will take place on September 6, 2025, at 3:00 PM, in conjunction with the opening of the exhibition #WITH LOVE TO UKRAINE, at the Old Granary (Vanha Makasiini).
Participants include Member of Parliament Pekka Haavisto, Assistant Professor Anitta Kynsilehto from the Tampere Peace and Conflict Research Center (TAPRI) at the University of Tampere, Till Sawala, astrophysicist at the University of Helsinki and activist with Extinction Rebellion, and Marwa Hasona, PhD in Sociology at the University of Bristol.
The discussion will be held in Finnish and English.
Access is via the bridge to the third floor. The venue is accessible for people with reduced mobility.
The event is part of the Dancing Meteorite Biennale.
