Minja K’s Free Woodcarving Workshop – TOGETHER AS FRIENDS
13–15 February

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Minja invites you to take part in a communal woodcarving
artwork titled TOGETHER AS FRIENDS.

In the workshop, each visitor will have a turn to carve the shared wooden sculpture for a few
minutes. No prior experience is needed – only curiosity and a willingness to try. Every hand
leaves its own mark, and the artwork continuously transforms, shaped by people, moment by
moment.

Participation is free of charge.

The intention is to offer you a gentle and safe way to try woodcarving – and perhaps to
notice how calming and empowering it can be to work with wood. If a spark is ignited, it is
also possible to book paid woodcarving workshops in the space.

Valentine’s Day is about being together.
About pausing.

Minja K opens her exhibition and woodcarving studio in the old barn (Isidoro) in Fiskars over
Valentine’s Day weekend – a space where the workshop, exhibition and shop merge into
one.

A place to breathe deeply, to touch wood, and to be present.

The space features sculptures as well as small art and wooden objects for sale – handmade,
slow, and meaningful.

Come alone or with a friend.
Come and leave your mark on a shared artwork.
You are warmly welcome to linger.
