Chanson – Tango – Schlager – Old Finnish music
In between music and dance performances, stories and anecdotes are shared about the lives of the French Edith Piaf, the Swedish Zarah Leander, the Austrian Lotte Lenya, and the Finnish Maire Ojonen. Through the songs these artists made famous, the audience is taken on a time travel to old Europe, the United States, and Argentina.
Le Petit Cabaret, or the little cabaret, fits into a suitcase that is always packed and ready. The journey can begin with little notice, either as an invited guest or even as an uninvited one. The performance can be booked for parties, as a Show & Dinner event for evening gatherings, Christmas parties, or it can be organized as a pop-up activity where the audience can join in through sing-alongs, riddles, and dance. The program can be tailored to the client’s wishes and different types of audiences. The performance is also perfect for care homes and service centers.
Annatuuli Saine is a dancer, singer, and performer. She also works as a local guide in the Fiskars Village in Western Uusimaa. Le Petit Cabaret was born from her interest and love for history, languages, and old-fashioned popular music. In the performances, she is accompanied by musician Kalevi Reinikainen (accordion). Performances can also be booked with a larger ensemble of musicians.
