Lecture: Harvest Rituals

Come and discover what connects Kekri and Halloween, and how harvest has been celebrated in Finland and around the world.

The lecture will be given by Fiskars-based nonfiction author and storyteller Reetta Ranta, who in her works Timeless Nordic Rituals, Sacred Trees, and Soul Birds (all published by SKS Kirjat), as well as in her TV series Back to Nature Finland, has extensively explored the mythology and ritual traditions of the Finnic peoples.

The lecture will be held in Finnish and, if needed, partially translated into English.
