Course in the Rosen method in Fiksars
The Rosen Method is a form of therapy that strengthens the connection between body and mind, using both touch and verbal communication. It was developed by the German-born physiotherapist Marion Rosen, whose surname also gave the method its name.
The Rosen Method basic course covers the fundamentals of the method, both in practice and theory. It is suitable for those who want to deepen their self-awareness and become more attuned to their bodies, but it also serves as a first step toward possible further studies to become a Rosen Method practitioner. No prior experience with the method is required. The course includes simple exercises in presence, body awareness, and touch, practiced in groups and pairs. Participants share their own experiences and tune in to listening to others.
This time, the course takes place in the idyllic village of Fiskars, whose beautiful surroundings will support our work. You can attend the course while staying at home or choose to stay in Fiskars.
The course is led by Rosen Method practitioner and basic course teacher Anna Krogerus. Assisting facilitators are Rosen Method trainees Elina Surakka and Merja Kaukometsä. The Rosen Movement sessions are guided by Rosen Method practitioner and Rosen Movement instructor Sirpa Laaksonen.
